London - Seaway

It's Sunday! And I'm bringing the upbeat pop punk sounds of Canada's own Seaway.
I loved this track when I first heard it earlier this year in preparation for catching them on tour with Trophy Eyes at Bottom Lounge in Chicago.
Seaway, consisting of Ryan Locke, Patrick Carleton, Andrew Eichinger, Adam Shoki, and Ken Taylor, formed in 2011 as a side-project for hardcore band The Fellowship. Things progressed as Seaway released their debut full-length record Hoser in 2013, though, and began to tour. Once their LP Vacation was released, Alternative Press wrote that the band "leveled up in the pop-punk world" and awarded the album 4.5/5 stars. Andy Biddulph from Rock Sound also claimed Vacation "might just be the pop-punk album of the year," and it shows.
This was one of my favorite shows in 2018, and I'm eagerly watching for Seaway to stop through the Windy City once more!
Honorable Mentions: "Something Wonderful", "Apartment", "Best Mistake"
